Minimum requirement 500 boards. Not uniform in width and thickness: width may vary from 1-6 inches, thickness may vary from ¼ to 1″, under 40″ lengths. Mixed type of wood (pine and hardwood), may have cracks, holes from nails, embedded nails, rough edges.
